Above & Beyond Announce Acoustic II Tour Dates Ahead Of Album
Above & Beyond have announced the dates and venues for their upcoming Acoustic II Tour. The seminal UK trance trio will take their live show to various cities around the world in 2016, kicking off on May 5 at the Royal Albert Hall in London and ending a month later at the Sydney Opera House on June 6. The tour will be accompanied by a second Acoustic album, following their 2013 LP. -
Above & Beyond Announce 'Acoustic II' Album, Tour In 2016
Above & Beyond have some big news for their fans heading into 2016. The London-based electronic music trio are rebooting their Acoustic concept spawned in 2013, but with even more legs. Paavo Siljamäki, Tony McGuinness and Jono Grant have announced Acoustic II, which will include an album and tour of "the world's most iconic venues." -

Another Labor Day in the books and we have completed a full Electric Zoo for the first time in three years. The weather gods looked down favorably on New York City, granting the festival perfect weather without a hint of rain and barely a cloud in the sky. The festival had to rebrand this year into "transformed" to try and create a new image that included new stage designs, lower ticket prices and different stage curators. We already wrapped up each day as it happened. Above & Beyond have released the music video for their upcoming We Are All We Need single "Fly To New York." The video is the latest in a series of clips dedicated to the UK producer, DJ trio's favorite movies. This time they pay homage to the classic romantic comedy Sleepless In Seattle. The single is being released on Friday aptly as the anthem for Electric Zoo this year. -

Veld Music Festival Day 2 Canceled Due To Extreme Weather
It has been a tough summer for Toronto EDM festivals. The second day of VELD Music Festival, Sunday Aug. 2, was canceled only a few hours in due to extreme weather. The festival announced the bad news on Twitter yesterday after evacuating the grounds for a few hours. Djs like Hardwell, Above & Beyond, Duke Dumont, Laidback Luke, Hot Since 82, Oliver Heldens, Mark Knight and others were all scheduled to perform before the festival was canceled. -
Electric Zoo Announces Phase 1 Of 2015 Lineup
New York's first major EDM festival, Electric Zoo, has announced the first wave of acts that will be heading to Randall's Island this year. E Zoo has been slowly unveiling the names a few at a time each day over the past few weeks, just like its fellow SFX festival, Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld do. ID&T, the promoters of Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld, were brought in to add their creative expertise for this year and reimagine the festival, so that makes sense. Among those who are on the first phase of artists include headliners, The Chemical Brothers, Above & Beyond and Alesso. -

Survived Memorial Day Weekend? Good because you have a full summer ahead of you filled with various music events all across the country. Festivals like Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands all command attention, but heading to smaller niche ones will be more then enough for a weekend escape. One such festival is Moonrise Festival, formerly known as Starscape, which will feature some of the names in electronic music. The two headliners will be Bassnectar and Above & Beyond, with additional major acts like Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, The Glitch Mob and Big Gigantic also on the bill.
