• It Looks Like Charles Manson Has Married 26-Year-Old Afton Burton

    Charles Manson may be serving a life sentence in a California prison for being the ringleader of a cult and ultimately responsible for the deaths of seven people, but that has not stopped him from apparently getting married. Afton Burton is a 26-year-old woman who became obsessed with the mass-murderer while still a teenager. She eventually left her home in Illinois in order to reside near him in California and spends her days working on ways to try and secure Manson's freedom. The couple recently filed for a marriage license and just yesterday Burton was spotted wearing what looks like a plain wedding band.After applying for their license, Manson and Afton had 90 days to carry out an actual wedding ceremony, but they were at the mercy of the prison. It would have to either be on one of Manson's regular visiting days or else a holiday such as Thanksgiving. There is no confirmation that the couple actually exchanged vows, but the ring was not on Burton's finger before this weekend, which makes things a bit more interesting.
