Lana Del Rey, Courtney Love Heading Out on Endless Summer Tour in May [SCHEDULE]
Lana Del Rey will hit the road in May for the Endless Summer Tour in support of her newest album "Ultraviolence," which came out in June. Courtney Love will join the "Born to Die" singer for the first half of the jaunt, with another opener slated to take over at the May 28 gig in Indiana — to be announced. Love is putting together a new solo record that is expected in 2015, "Consequence of Sound" reported. Rey's "Ultraviolence" made it to No. 1 on the "Billboard" 200 chart as well as the Top Tastemaker Albums list. The album, produced by The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, includes singles like "Shades of Cool," "West Coast" and the title track. It was met with generally positive reviews. Love dropped new songs "You Know My Name" and "Wedding Day" earlier this year. In 2013, the Hole frontwoman promised a new album before the new year. That never happened. -

Lana Del Rey Wrote 2 Songs for Tim Burton's 'Big Eyes'
2014 has been a huge year for Lana Del Rey, appearing on the cover of "Rolling Stone" and scoring her first No. 1 album, and next month she will be capping off her stellar year with the premiere of Tim Burton's latest film "Big Eyes," which features two new songs from the "Ultraviolence" singer. "Tim showed her the film and she fell in love with it," screenwriter and producer Larry Karaszewski told "The Hollywood Reporter." "Women in particular seem to get the movie, and Lana really got the movie." Big Eyes tells the true story of American painter Margaret Keane (Amy Adams) whose work was credited to her husband Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz) during the 1950s and '60s. Del Rey contributed two songs to the film: "Big Eyes" and "I Can Fly," both of which are written from the perspective of Margaret Keane. -
Eminem Says He'll "Punch Lana Del Rey Right In The Face Twice Like Ray Rice" In New 'Shady CXVPHER' [WATCH]
In support of his upcoming double-disc Shady XV album, Eminem released the Shady CXVPHER which features rappers from across the country including Crooked I from Long Beach, California; Joe Budden from Jersey City, New Jersey; Yelawolf from Gasden, Alabama; Joell Ortiz from Brooklyn, New York; Royce Da 5'9" from Detroit, Michigan; and of course Eminem repping the Motor City as well. Slim proved himself the rap god once again during his seven-minute freestyle, and the line that has everyone talking is one in which he threatens to punch Lana Del Rey in the face. He also makes reference to Ray Rice, the NFL player currently suspended after footage emerged of him assaulting his fiancée. -

Lana Del Rey To Perform Concerts At Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Lana Del Rey has always had a morbid streak in her, from naming her debut album Born To Die to claiming that she wishes she “was dead already,” so it was only a matter of time before the 29-year-old singer-songwriter performed a concert in a cemetery. Billboard reports that Del Rey will be performing two shows at the legendary Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on Oct. 17 and 18. Tickets go on sale at noon on Sept. 27 through the Hollywood Forever website. -
Lana Del Rey Cancels Several European Appearances Due To Illness
Obviously, this is not going over well in the UK. According to MTV, Virgin Radio is planning a boycott of the singer, saying in a statement it "disapproves of this total lack of respect for the fans and is removing Lana Del Rey from its playlist." -
