• 'The Voice' Season 9 Recap, Review: Knockout Rounds End with Big Pharrell Steal

    The knockout rounds of The Voice came to a close on Monday night (Nov. 2) after just three (long) episodes. For the final episode of this installment, you would think that the show would really pull out the big guns with some of the best performances of the year. And, while everyone was solid, there was nothing that like blew my socks off. And for a year that has a decent amount of talent, that's a little odd.

Rihanna is on episode one of her four-stint residency on the show, and while some may have doubted whether or not the ANTI singer would be able to pull off actual singing advice, she proved to be one of the more effective mentors this show has had in some time.

    Earlier this month, country star Blake Shelton announced that he will be heading out on the road next February to play a string of 11 dates across the U.S. between February and March. The tour will be in support his upcoming greatest hits collection,' Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits' as reported by 'Rolling Stone'. The tour trek will kick off February 18 at Cincinnati's U.S. Bank Arena and will wrap up on March 19 in Pittsburgh at the CONSOL Energy Center. The Oklahoma native quickly added a second show at Music City's Bridgestone Arena in Nashville after tickets for the first date sold out in just minutes. In other markets, the resale ticket demand is already competitive, as Blake Shelton tickets across the secondary market are averaging $233.

    Time and time again, Pharrell Williams has proven himself to be one of the hardest-working men in show business. Adding yet another title to his resume, XXL reports that Pharell has just been chosen as the Artist-In-Residence at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

    Jingle Ball 2015 kicks off in Dallas on December 1 and will continue until December 19 where it will see its last show of the month in Tampa. The general on-sale doesn't begin until October 12, but re-sale tickets for Jingle Ball are a way to grab tickets without being a Capial One cardholder, although they are already pricey for many of the dates, including shows in major cities like Washington D.C., New York City and Los Angeles.

    Pharrell has unveiled his remix for A Tribe Called Quest's classic track "Bonita Applebum." The remix is taken from the reissue of their celebrated 1990s album People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. In addition to the new Pharrell rework, the reissue album will also feature a remix of "Can I Kick It?" by J. Cole and another from Cee-Lo Green for "Footprints."
