• Did the Kardashian Family Fake A Happy Thanksgiving Together?

It has been a year full of serious changes and transitions for the Kardashian family and momager Kris Jenner really has done her best to try and keep the family empire up and running in spite of all the chaos. Once she officially split from Bruce Jenner, it seemed like any sense of normalcy that might have existed went right out the window. Kendall and Kylie Jenner have openly struggled to be okay, Khloe and Rob Kardashian both seem fairly lost, while Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with her third child in spite of her unstable relationship with Scott Disick. Kim Kardashian's business is booming, but sources say that it's at the cost of her marriage. It's a good thing that the Kardashian family all reconvened at Khloe's for Thanksgiving -- or did they?
  • Kim K.'s Shady Behavior on Dubai Trip May Have Caused Kanye to Skip Thanksgiving Dinner with Her Family

Remember last week when we all raised our eyebrows at the fact that Kanye West had decided not only to not spend Thanksgiving with his wife and child, but that he opted to spend it in Paris with his guy friends? Then Kim Kardashian posted some nifty tweets about how happy she was to spend the holiday with her "whole" family, making some wonder if West was no longer part of the equation. Well, we are learning a bit more now, and it seems that perhaps Kardashian's behavior on her trip to Dubai might have ticked off her husband. According to the "Examiner," Kardashian was with a rich man in Dubai for business, and when Tyrese Gibson got a little too flirtatious with her the other man had him removed from the club they were all at. The rules for appropriate behavior between men and women in public are strict in Dubai, so it was not that hard to build a case against Gibson. Ironically, West apparently had no issue allowing his wife to be a paid party escort, but he did have a real problem with her interaction with Gibson. West reportedly thinks that something might have happened between the two of them and that anger and distrust is what led him to cut out right before the holiday.
  • Thanksgiving Apart Leads to Rumors of Trouble in Kimye's Marriage

It does not take much for Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kanye West to start grabbing some negative headlines. No one has ever accused them of exactly being the most conventional couple in the first place, but for some reason the press goes crazy when they do not play house like everyone else does. Remember, they have a baby, have been married for six months and are still living with Kris Jenner in spite of having mountains of cash for a place of their own. Thanks to reality television, we are all used to seeing the whole Kardashian family together to celebrate the holidays because it is how they have always done it. West was missing from last week's festivities. Not only did he skip out on Thanksgiving dinner at Khloé Kardashian's, but he was actually spotted in Paris dining with two of his best friends rather than spending the holiday with his wife and daughter. Kardashian raised eyebrows by being grateful on social media for having her "whole" family with her on Thanksgiving. She chased that with a photo of little North West out and about on Black Friday and in the caption Kardashian called her daughter her "best friend."
  • 'Y&R' Corey Sligh Beaten After Being Hit By Car on Thanksgiving

This past Thanksgiving is likely one Corey Sligh will never forget. The actor, who has popped up on "The Young and the Restless" in various roles, stopped at a Rite Aid drug store in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Alisa Berhorst, and one comment lead to a violent altercation, according to "The Hollywood Reporter." The couple was originally making a quick stop before going to help feed those who were less privileged when a car in the parking lot was hopping curbs and doing donuts. Sligh noticed that the two men inside the vehicle were narrowly missing hitting people, and he suggested that they slow down. Instead of doing that, they purposely hit Sligh with the car and then got out and beat him! The men eventually sped off, but later crashed the car and were arrested by police. Sligh is still hospitalized at Cedars Sinai, where he will stay for at least a few more days. He reached out to fans via his Instagram, saying: "Hey kids, went to feed some people last night who don't have blessed thanksgivings and along the way got struck by a drunk driver! Have a surgery to go and another couple days in the hospital but should be fine soon! Thankful to still be on this great planet! Love y'all!"
  • Kardashian Family Pushes Khloé to Dump French Montana Before Holiday Season

Khloé Kardashian and French Montana may have reunited just in time to promote "Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons" but that doesn't mean that it has been an easy and smooth reunion. Montana's motives have always been questioned by Kardashian's family, with them assuming that he might be using her to get ahead in the business. They took a break last September with rumors swirling that Montana might have been caught cheating and unfortunately, some think he's still playing the reality star.
  • Melissa Rivers is Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner in Honor of Her Mother in NYC

Melissa Rivers has been working hard to move on from the untimely death of her beloved mother, Joan Rivers, back in September. We now know that the circumstances surrounding the comedienne's death were likely due to mistakes made by the healthcare professionals that she was trusting, and that Melissa has already hired a bulldog law firm to insist on some level of legal accountability. This is one of Melissa's top priorities right now but she also realizes that life must go on so she's going to celebrate Thanksgiving exactly as Joan would have.
  • Most of the Kardashians Will Be Spending Thanksgiving as Far from Kris Jenner as Possible

Remember when part of the magical effect that the Kardashian family had on people was the ability to make fans jealous? It really did seem, at least for a little while, that life as a member of Kris Jenner's extended family would be simply amazing. Now, a few years after the bottom began falling out, even the most die-hard of fans know otherwise. It was all an illusion especially created for reality television and, unfortunately, Jenner's true reality seems to get more dismal by the week. After confirming that she is dating 25-year-old Corey Gamble, even her kids are refusing to come home for Thanksgiving! Kendall and Kylie Jenner were especially crushed by Kris's divorce from their father Bruce Jenner, and they often side with him. According to Radar Online, both girls are refusing to even deal with their mom's new man and will be spending the holiday with their father. Kourtney Kardashian's relationship with Scott Disick is a mess, so they are passing on Kris's invite. Khloé and Rob Kardashian are both unpredictable and dealing with their own issues, so they are likely to stay away, too. The only family members who are confirmed to be spending Thanksgiving at the family compound are Kim Kardashian and her little family, and that is likely because they still live there!
  • Thanksgiving Parody: Students Sing Garth Brooks's 'I Got Friends in Low Places' as 'I Hate Yams in All Places' [LISTEN]

There is nothing like a good, old-fashioned Thanksgiving parody. DJ Richie Philips at WGNA in Albany, New York, got some elementary school students to sing about their least favorite holiday dish: yams. The kicker? The song is titled "I Hate Yams in All Places" and it is set to the tune of a little ditty made famous by Garth Brooks called "I've Got Friends in Low Places," Taste of Country notes. "It's Thanksgiving Day, there's food that we hate / There's also some foods that we like," the children sing, trying to nail down the melody. "When it's all on my dish, and they serve me fish / I'd rather be out on my bike." The students really give it their all in the video below, and it all comes to a climax at the reworked chorus. "I hate yams in all places / I'd rather chew on my shoelaces / But it's only right to be polite / It's only right to tell my mother / Feed those yams to my brother," they sing.
  • This Is Your Thanksgiving Day Soundtrack

Thanksgiving is, unfortunately, the holiday that most often gets swept under the rug. Nuzzled in between the Hallmark behemoths that are Halloween and Christmas, Thanksgiving by and large got the pass when it comes to traditional holiday carols. Though there are plenty of songs that capture the spirit of being with family or stuffing your face with ridiculous amounts of food, songs purely for Turkey Day are few and far between.
