Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox often received cringe and strange looks from netizens for being an eccentric but loving couple, but despite looking completely in love in front of the cameras, their relationship was crumbling behind the scenes.

"That intensity is still there nearly four years into their relationship, but that's not necessarily 'healthy,'" a source said, noting that the former couple still want to get back together.

"There are still a ton of trust issues between them, and it's very toxic. They can't stay away from each other and there's a lot of history there, but they also don't know how to be in a healthy relationship."

According to People Magazine, MGK, and Fox called it quits, breaking off their engagement in 2023, and it might have something to do with their tumultuous relationship, which was described as "One day they're up, the next they're down" by the source.

Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox Break Up, End Their Engagement

It is unclear when the "Emo Girl" rapper and the Jennifer's Body star broke up or who ended the engagement; however, the source hinted that the split might not have lasted too long.

Meanwhile, Fox has shared her statement about the breakup during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

"I think that what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption," the actress replied when asked about it. "So I think, as of now, I don't have a comment on, like, the status of the relationship per se."

Although she did call MGK her "twin soul."

Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox Getting Back Together?

According to The News, the source avoided discussing whether a reconciliation is possible for the former couple.

They said that on some days, MGK and Fox would get into "a huge blowout fight," which would result in weeks of the silent treatment, only for them to run back into each other's arms and "be all lovely-dovey again."

As of this writing, there are no reports about the rapper and Fox getting back together, and it seems like the actress, who recently dropped a book of poems titled Pretty Boys Are Pisonus, is done with the relationship.
