Everything is better when The Roots get involved.

Little Big Town, which recently became part of the Grand Ole Opry, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently to promote their new album Pain Killer. The group debuted a strong second single with house band The Roots, who added some slick Philly soul to the country tune. Everyone's loving it in the video below, and the performance is definitely an impressive collaboration. Check out the guitar solos around the two-minute mark featuring Roots axeman Kirk Douglas trading off riffs with one of the members of Little Big Town's backing band.

The quartet recently spoke to Rolling Stone Country about the new Jay Joyce-produced album that came out last month. "Jay brings wildness," Karen Fairchild said about the producer of albums by Eric Church and The Wallflowers. "He's such a creative guy and he likes to see if we can pull one over on ourselves again: Can we do it better than we did last time? He's always up for the chase. But he's very confident. He thinks of things you'd never think of."

Kimberly Schlapman also chimed in about Little Big Town's recent induction into the storied Grand Ole Opry. "We listened to it growing up at our house," the singer said about her family. "Then when we came to town, I came to the Opry a few times and sat out in the audience and just dreamed, 'I wonder what it feels like to be invited to be an Opry member.' I've played that through my head so many times across the years. Now we finally know."
