One Direction fans -don't worry, Harry Styles will not be going solo, at least until 1D puts out its fifth studio album. Today (June 4) in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest, the 21-year-old "No Control" singer opened up about potentially going the way of Zayn Malik and exiting his boy band.

Though sort of dodging the solo question in full, Styles remained constant that he will still be around for new One Direction music.

"We have the album and the tour that we're working on right now. I think when you have so many goals that you feel like you have yet to achieve, it's hard to kind of see past those," Styles said about potentially leaving One Direction. "I think when you have so many goals that you feel like you have yet to achieve, it's hard to kind of see past those. It's important to kind of focus on what's going on and don't kind of lose track. So we're all working hard towards the same thing right now, and I don't think we're thinking much past that."

So, basically, it's just one thing at a time for Styles.

He did, however, reveal one thing about the future: One Direction's follow-up to its 2014 album FOUR is going to be a good one, even with the absence of Malik.

"The creative process - it's very similar to be honest," he said. "But it was cool how some of the things came out sounding because actually there was a lot of parts that kind of needs to get written with Zayn in mind and with all of us in mind. It's great, the new stuff sounds good so far I think? I hope. So we hope that people like it."
