On September 9, Madonna will embark on the 2015 The Rebel Hearts Tour, featuring Amy Schumer and Diplo, in support of her thirteenth studio album which she released earlier this year. Secondary tickets for Madonna are over $300 across all of her scheduled dates, according to TiqIQ. The tour, which is scheduled to hit 35 cities, will begin with a North American leg until October, where it will swing over to Europe and the U.K. for November and December. In 2016, Madonna will play three additional legs overseas.

If Madonna is able to continue her streak on the road, The Rebel Hearts Tour should bring an impressive return. Madonna's 2012 MDNA Tour and her 2008-2009 Sticky & Sweet Tour were huge touring milestones for the singer. According to Billboard, the MDNA Tour grossed $305 million and moved 2.2 million tickets to 88 shows, making it the highest grossing tour of the year. Sticky & Sweet grossed $408 million for 3.5 million tickets sold and it still holds the record for the biggest tour ever for a female artist.

With opening acts like comedian Amy Schumer and Diplo, Madonna should have little trouble filling venues and secondary tickets are pricey. Currently, her most expensive date is her October 24 show in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, where an average ticket is $879, with a get-in price of $177. Her cheapest show is currently still fairly expensive. On October 1, the tour will make a stop at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and the average ticket price is $193 with a get-in price of $53. Madonna's two dates in New York City are also competitively priced. Her Sept. 16 show at Madison Square Garden has a secondary ticket average of $495, with a get-in of just $25. The Barclays Center show in Brooklyn is slightly more expensive and has an average ticket price of $495, with a get-in price of $83.

Although the spotlight in the summer of 2015 has been largely maintained by Taylor Swift, Madonna is on track to resume her role as the Pop Queen when September rolls around. If Rebel Hearts has a similar success as Madonna's prior tours, fans can expect to see new touring milestones.
