Ricky Martin and fiancé Jwan Yosef are now married, although the wedding celebration has yet to take place.

Martin broke the news about his married status in a recent interview, where he simply revealed that he is now a married man. The singer confirmed that he and Yosef exchanged vows and signed all the papers needed that would legally bind them as a married couple. The marriage also included a prenuptial agreement.

However, the actual wedding celebration has yet to happen. Martin revealed that preparations are still under way.

"I'm a husband, but we're doing a heavy party in a couple of months, I'll let you know," Martin told E! News during a red carpet appearance for FX's The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, where he portrays the role of Antonio D'Amico.

Martin promised that the celebration will be a grand event. It will be a three-day party, although he did not reveal the actual date/s of the celebration or where the reception will take place. The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer has been vocal about his interest to hold the wedding in his native Puerto Rico, where he has been doing humanitarian efforts to help the victims of Hurricane Maria.

"The typical three-day party, the dinner, the rehearsal, the party and the recovery. You'll be the first to know," Martin added.

The 46-year-old singer also expressed his excitement to be able to finally call Yosef as his man. He admitted that it feels amazing to introduce him to friends as his husband and no longer his fiancé.

Martin and Yosef, 32, first stepped out together in 2016 and got engaged later that year. The singer talked about how he met Yosef, a conceptual artist, during a guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November. Martin, a self-confessed art collector, said that he contacted the artist after he saw and fell in love with his work. In the same interview, the singer also talked about his nerve-wracking and beautiful proposal to his then-fiancée.

"I got on my knees and I took out the little metal box. I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying, 'Will you marry me?' I said, 'I got you something!' Bad. Then he was like, 'Yes.' I said, 'I want to spend my life with you,' and he was like, 'What is the question?' 'Would you marry me?' That's it," Martin said.

Martin now has a family to call his own with the addition of Yosef. He is already a father to twins Valentino and Matteo, whom he welcomed through a surrogate.
