Before entering the music industry, many musicians dreamt of going on stage with their favorite idols. Little did Andrew Watt know, his ambition would be fulfilled in the future.

Speaking to Billboard, the 31-year-old guitarist revealed his childhood dream, and he might've predicted his current career.

As a young boy, Watt said he would watch shows of "Pearl Jam" and brought posters that said, "Let me play the guitar solo to 'Alive."

Since he was born in 1990 and his brother in 1985, he revealed they only listened to "Pearl Jam" and "Red Hot Chili Peppers."

Today, the record producer is now playing for the band's frontman Eddie Vedder for his solo backing band "The Earthlings."

Explaining his experience, Watt said it was "an actual full-circle," and it's unbelievable to think that he's been ready his whole life.

"It's not supposed to happen like that, you're not supposed to have those posters on your wall and be in the position where you're creating with those people," he added. (via 98.5 The River)

Watt has been in touch with Vedder for over a decade, and they are now making music together. His other idols from "Red Hot Chili Peppers," Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer, are also involved with their projects.

When they are not working on music, he said they are laughing, hanging out, and popping beers.

Aside from being a part of Vedder's band, Watt is also producing his upcoming solo album titled "Earthling," which will be released on February 11, 2011.

Teasing fans about new music, Watt said they're finishing up mixes, and they're excited to put it out to the public.

"I don't want to say too much besides, just to hear his voice in front of me, and get to play guitar and bass under that? It's like a celebration," he added.

Vedder and his band "The Earthlings" will embark on a tour around the United States starting February 2022.

Per Guitar World, the first show will begin on February 3 at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Other cities on their dates include Newark, New Jersey, Chicago, Illinois, and Los Angeles, California. The final two shows will be at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Washington.

Music legends like Chad Smith, Josh Klinghoffer, "Jane's Addiction" bassist Chris Chaney, and "Once" star Glen Hansard will also be a part of the show.
