Big Freedia is among the artists whom Beyoncé sampled on her new album "Renaissance" and she's thankful for the experience. However, the Queen of Bounce noted that she's willing to do a big thing for Queen Bey for the collaboration.

Last month, upon releasing the hit summer anthem "Break My Soul," the New Orleans-based singer expressed her gratitude after being featured on Beyoncè's track again after years.

Taking to her Instagram account, the singer said it feels surreal to be working with the singer's team and she's honored to be a part of "this special moment."

"Overwhelmed with tears of joy. my God is so real the things he can do in your life. only if y'all know where I come from and how hard this journey has been I'm forever grateful thanks so much for loving me for who l am. this for all of y'all," she wrote.

Recently, Big Freedia spoke to CBS Mornings to give more information behind the collaboration.

When asked if she would mind how her song "Explode" will be used in the track, the singer said she had no hesitation and Beyoncé could use her song in any way she liked.

She also noted that she's willing to do something big for the singer as she would have wanted to re-record her vocals for the song.

Speaking about writing "Explode," Big Freedia said she was thinking a lot of things when she wrote the track.

"All those things, I try to forget about those things and get into my zone. Sometimes you want to explode, all the things that you're going through. So I wanted to release all those things," she explained.

This isn't the first time the two artists collaborated on a song as the Queen of Bounce's vocals were also used on the smash hit "Formation" from Beyoncé's 2016 visual album "Lemonade."

Big Freedia isn't the only artist sampled on "Renaissance" as Robin S.'s classic "Show Me Love's" stems were also used on "Break My Soul."

The legendary hitmaker previously expressed her gratitude to the singer as the former Destiny's Child member still remembered her track despite it being released in the 90s.

"To Jay-Z, to the entire team... Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I'm still alive. I am honored and I am excited to see what else can happen," she said in a video message to Good Morning Britain.
