Khalid shocked fans over the past few days after he was involved in a car accident and many concertgoers are wondering if he'll be back on stage with Ed Sheeran again for the British singer's "Mathematics Tour."

It appears that the musician had already recovered from the tragic incident as WHDH reported that he will make his on-stage comeback this Friday and Saturday (June 30 and July 1 respectively) at Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

For those who already bought tickets for the shows, the venue's parking lots will open at 2 p.m. while the gates will allow people to enter by 4 p.m., and the concert is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

What Happened to Khalid?

According to Khalid's mother, Linda Wolfe, who spoke with KVIA ABC-7, the musician "had pulled over after his car started to overheat, got into the passenger seat, then was hit by a passing car." (via Uproxx)

Fortunately for the singer, he only sustained "minor injuries" and didn't suffer any major medical problems.

Since Khalid is an opener/supporting act for Ed Sheeran's tour, the British singer had no choice but to open up for his own show in Landover, Maryland, as Khalid was absent.

As seen on videos circulating online, the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker revealed that his good pal was "recovering" and he wished him the best.

At the time, the musician performed a 30-minute set featuring tracks from his record "Subtract."

The musician is currently in the middle of a double tour, the first one is his "Subtract Tour" which will be in small theaters across the United States so he could perform with a full band in an intimate setting, while the other one is the "Mathematics Tour" which will be on bigger venues like stadiums.
