The world of music has been constantly changing almost every single day and the number one trend to some fans in recent months is the technology called artificial intelligence and there were some people who couldn't differentiate the difference between what's real or generated because of how accurate the voices of certain artists were.

More recently, an AI-generated version of The Weeknd's song, "Starboy," went viral because it features the actress' voice.

Selena Gomez then took the opportunity to react to the matter and her thoughts were straight to the point and concise.

In a video shared on Instagram where Gomez's voice was used, the "Only Murders in the Building" star simply commented, "Scary."

She didn't add any explanation behind her reaction and many fans immediately get it as one user noted that the singer should file a lawsuit against people who use her voice.

"I wish she files a lawsuit against the app creator for using her voice without her consent.. And I wish all artists sue them as well," one wrote.

Selena Gomez, The Weeknd Dating History

It's worth noting that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, were previously linked to each other. They reportedly dated months after "Starboy" was released.

According to People Magazine, the former couple first met at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2015. At the time, both artists were part of the lineup as performers for the evening.

Two years later, fans were shocked as they were spotted having a romantic dinner date together at a celebrity-famous restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles, California.

At the time, a source noted that their relationship was "new and nothing serious."

Following this, they confirmed their romantic relationship through social media and even at the red carpet as they attended the Met Gala together in 2017.

In October of that year, it was reported that they broke up but they kept in touch with one another.
