An anonymous woman has come forward to accuse Nick Carter of sexual assault, claiming he got her drunk before the alleged incidents occurred, first on board his yacht and later on board his bus.

Yet, Attorney Dale Hayes Jr. maintains that this same woman made similar reports to law enforcement in 2003, per TMZ.

The woman who claims that an event occurred in 2003 when she was 15, and he was 23, there was not enough evidence gathered by law enforcement to bring any charges forward. This confirmation comes from Mr. Hayes' statements about the situation.

The lawyer noted that the woman bringing the lawsuit against the Backstreet Boys singer was "recycling the same falsehoods in a new legal filing," adding that simply repeating them "doesn't make them any more credible."

This isn't the first time Nick Carter was sued for sexual assault.

Shannon Ruth recently filed a lawsuit against Nick in December, alleging that he had sexually assaulted her after one of his concerts many years ago when she was still a minor.

However, in response to the lawsuit, Nick has declared that there are witnesses who will prove Shannon's claims to be false.

In the beginning of 2023, it came to light that Nick was at the center of two separate lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct.

Singer Melissa Schuman filed a suit involving an incident in 2002 in Santa Monica, California. Additionally, another woman has brought forth accusations against him as well.

When Melissa Schuman was just 18 and Nick Carter was 22, the singer allegedly forced her to engage in oral sex - a move she had expressly stated she wanted to wait for marriage.

However, no legal action was taken against Nick, as Melissa only filed a police report five years ago.

Melissa took legal action to get a judge to reconsider the case based on California's revised law, which revoked the statute of limitations for any civil court proceedings.

As for Nick, he continues to maintain that all claims are unfounded.

At the end of 2022, Shannon Ruth, a 39-year-old with autism and cerebral palsy, initiated legal action against Carter.

She alleged that he had committed sexual assault on her in 2001 when she was 17 years old.

The event supposedly had taken place on the tour bus after the Backstreet Boys' "Black & Blue" tour performance in Tacoma, Washington.

Ruth's legal action included claims of sexual misconduct by Nck, which affected three other women referred to as Jane Does. One of these individuals was just 15 years old.
