Bobbie Jean Carter, Nick Carter's sister, supposedly had her funeral on Saturday in Florida.

The pop star's younger sibling, who passed away at the age of 41 last month, was buried in a community outside of Tampa, according to TMZ, during a "small, private ceremony" that was attended by family and friends.

The matriarch of the family, Jane Schneck, delivered the eulogy, according to sources close to the publication, however it was unclear if Nick attended the funeral. Bobbie Jean, also referred to as BJ by her relatives, is the third Carter sibling to pass away prematurely. Leslie Carter passed dead in 2012 at the age of 25, and Aaron Carter passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 34. Overdoses were the cause of both deaths.

Though Bobbie Jean's cause of death is still unknown, family-close sources have stated that they think she died of heart arrest.

The announcement of the funeral occurs just a few days after Nick, in an emotional homage on Instagram, declared that he is "completely heartbroken" following the loss of his sister Bobbie Jean.

The Backstreet Boys singer said, "It may take a lifetime to fully process the loss my family has endured over the years - most recently, with the sudden passing of our sister Bobbie Jean."

In addition, he posted an old photo of him and Bobbie Jean playing together when they were younger.

This was tragic to imagine as just in November 2023, it was reported that the singer was still reeling from the death of his younger brother, Aaron Carter earlier that year.

According to E! News, for Nick, losing his younger brother Aaron has been especially devasting.

The two had made their names in the same music industry, after all.

Given how "no matter what he and I had gone through in our lives, we always were able to make amends, always were able to get back to that place-and now I can't anymore and it hurts."

"It's still unbelievable to me," Nick said of Aaron's death, in an exclusive interview with E! News. "I'm still processing the whole situation and trying to make sense of it-because it hasn't."

The Backstreet Boys star even became emotional and  said, "But I'm hoping that one day I can make sense of it all."

Following news that Bobbie Jean's eight-year-old daughter Bella is under the care of her 64-year-old grandma Schneck, Nick posted.

Bobbie Jean's 2006 appearance on the reality show House of Carters may have made her well-known to viewers.

She battled substance problems, just like her late sister Leslie and late brother Aaron. Aaron accidentally drowned in his Lancaster, California, home after taking the generic version of Xanax, alprazolam, and inhaling difluoroethane. He was just 34.
