The frontman of the now-disbanded band Anti-Flag, Justin Sane, has been bombarded with more accusations after initially dismissing the first allegations.

Anti-Flag announced on July 20 that the band had split up and suddenly deleted all its social media accounts and websites. While it did not disclose the reason behind the band's disbandment, the development happened after several women came forward with allegations that Sane sexually assaulted them.

Justin Sane's Controversy: More Women Reveal Anti-Flag Frontman's Alleged Assault

Rolling Stone published a report based on the accounts of 12 more women who accused Sane of sexually assaulting them from the 1990s to 2020. Their statements have similar patterns - from the singer's eye contact with them while performing to Sane approaching them after the show.

The news outlet noted that the women were much younger than the singer when the sexual assaults happened, with one accusing him of having lewd actions with teenagers, including a 12-year-old.

Most of them alleged that Sane was violent and non-consensual during the encounters, and one victim said she reported the incident when the singer handcuffed and assaulted her in the U.K. in 2020.

The woman said the police did not prosecute the musician.

The women also accused Sane's bandmates of complacency for allowing the acts despite knowing what he was doing.

"They knew how young everybody was," the accusers said. "There was a clear boundary that he kept crossing over and over that should have raised flags for everybody."

Meanwhile, the other Anti-Flag members have addressed the issue and said that they trusted everyone to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone, including fans.

"The understanding that abusers can be anywhere further reinforces the importance of survivors speaking out and sharing their stories," the band continued. "Further, we feel strongly that all predators must atone for their inappropriate actions and be held accountable."

The Accusations VS Justin Sane

Sane previously issued a statement about Anti-Flag's disbandment and called the sexual assault allegations "categorically false."

According to the singer (via Billboard), he was never involved in any sexual relationship that was not consensual and he was never approached by a woman after an encounter to tell him he acted without her consent.

Meanwhile, he said that the band's split was made after realizing it was impossible to continue.
