Fans were in for a major surprise as they witnessed two legendary musical acts collaborate together on one stage for a surprise performance that no one saw coming as Shania Twain appeared out of nowhere during Foo Fighters' set; check out what she has to say below.

According to Billboard, the country star and the rock band performed together at this year's Austin City Limits Festival where they played the group's 2005 track "Best of You" from the album "In You Honor."

During their surprise set, frontman Dave Grohl began singing the first verse while Shania Twain, who donned fiery red hair, a silver top, a pair of white denim shorts, and cowboy boots, came out of the stage.

She proceeded to give the frontman a big hug from behind before she sang the chorus part.

Shania Twain Checks Off Something From Her 'Bucket List' After Foo Fighters Collab

Later on, Shania Twain took to her official Instagram account to express her gratitude for the band for letting her perform with them and she also revealed that it was a long dream of her to team up with Foo Fighters.

"This was one off the bucket list for me! Firstly thank you to @foofighters for inviting me on stage - you are all so generous and ridiculously cool," she wrote.

Although many would consider Twain country royalty, she admitted that she's also a big fan of rock music as the first band she ever worked with was rock.

Foo Fighters Tour 2024

In other updates, Foo Fighters announced last week that they will be traveling to cities across the United States for their "Everything or Nothing At All" tour.

The first two shows will begin at the Citi Field in New York, and there are 15 more others that will all be held in stadiums.

The series of concerts will have a rotation of special guests which include The Pretenders, Amyl and the Sniffers, Mammoth WVH, L7, and Alex G.

Foo Fighters have been performing at concerts over the past few weeks, but it appears that they're not taking a break anytime soon as their stadium shows would be their biggest gig so far.
