Before Britney Spears wrote her memoir, Justin Timberlake wanted to reveal his story first soon after their breakup.

Fans are waiting to learn more about Spears and Timberlake's past relationship after the excerpts from her book "The Woman in Me" dropped bombshells about them: her pregnancy, abortion, and the *NSYNC member's infidelity.

But before the shocking stories surfaced, Timberlake reportedly wanted to unveil Spears' dirty laundry following their split in 2002.

Justin Timberlake Wanted To Out "Every Dirty Thing" About Britney Spears

In 2006, Timberlake had a sit-down interview with journalist Robert Haskell for his profile and spoke about Spears in a "very unkind way."

"If I [were] writing an article about her, I would not be able to fight the urge to write every dirty thing about," he said, adding, "I don't know that person anymore. I'm not sure I knew her before."

Spears and Timberlake dated in 1999 after meeting on the set of "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" but called it quits in 2002. A year after their breakup, the "What Goes Around... Comes Around..." singer released "Cry Me a River," in which he reportedly hinted at her infidelity.

Meanwhile, Spears dropped "Everytime" as an alleged response to the track.

Before Timberlake accused the "Toxic" singer of cheating on him with the 2003 song, media outlets shared at that time that he also had an affair with All Saints' Nicole Appleton while he was dating Spears.

It remains unknown whether Appleton was the same woman mentioned in "The Woman in Me" as Spears refused to name the person Timberlake had a relationship with. Per the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer, she did not want to write about the "celebrity" since she has a family now.

Aside from the cheating allegation, Spears also revealed that she had an abortion after Timberlake got her pregnant because the male singer was unhappy about it.

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy," she wrote. "I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
