Bon Jovi has been eyeing a reunion tour for quite some time now; while there are no official announcements about it, many are hopeful that it will come to fruition, especially after Richie Sambora's recent update.

"Yeah, it definitely could happen," Sambora said in a recent interview. "It's just a question of when everybody's ready to go do it. It will be a big, massive kind of undertaking."

Noting that the band, which consists of frontman Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, guitarist Phil X, drummer Tico Torres, and bassist Hugh McDonald would have to work around their schedules for it to happen.

"It's time to do it, though," the former guitarist and co-songwriter added. "This is our 40th anniversary, but I feel younger than ever. I'm having a ball."

Bon Jovi Reunion In The Works?

This is not the first time a Bon Jovi reunion tour has been brought up; back in September, Sambora hinted at the news during his appearance at "Shred With Shifty," a podcast hosted by the Foo Fighters' guitarist Chris Shiflett.

"We're talking about it," the musician admitted. "Yeah, it's that. It's - there's a demand out there for it, you know? Especially outside of the USA."

Sambora left Bon Jovi back in 2013 due to "personal issues" while they were in the middle of touring.

Rumors began spreading that he had been kicked out of the band, which was later debunked by Bon Jovi himself, noting that Sambora "quit."

According to reports, there seems to be no bad blood between the band and Samora as he even reunited with the band for one time when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.

Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora Reunion

Sambora enthusiastically shared that Bon Jovi is also eyeing a documentary that will accompany the highly anticipated tour.

"There's a documentary that's being done about the band and stuff that I've participated in, and people want to come see us play, and it's going to make everybody happy," he said.

"I think that we wrote a lot of songs that changed a lot of people's lives just by letting them have a good time. I know that's what music did to me ... kept me company. And I hope that I can reflect that in what I do."
