The legendary Oasis member Noel Gallagher and his ex-wife Sara MacDonald have officially ended their marriage, with a large compensation anticipated for Sara.
According to insiders, Sara, 52, a music publicist, could inherit their £8 million Hampshire property in addition to £20 million.
After they broke up and Noel moved out, Sara remained in the property, an inside informed The Sun. It's assumed she will remain there.
They've purposefully avoided any kind of public conflict by acting discreetly and behind closed doors, and they have the means to do so. "In the end, they were essentially just talking through attorneys."
They continued by saying that both parties were "happy enough" and that reaching an agreement would have been a "huge relief" to them both.
It was believed that throughout the last phases of their divorce, the estranged couple only spoke to each other through attorneys since things had gotten so heated between them.

Following the agreement on the settlement, which was drafted last month, both took off for a celebratory trip, with Sara traveling to Ibiza to meet friends and Noel arriving in Vegas.
Reps for Noel have been contacted by MailOnline for comment. Noel has been living the high life at Claridge's in Mayfair, London, since their breakup, while he waits for renovations to be completed on his new Maida Vale apartment.
The musician, who is currently the lead singer of High Flying Birds, talked about how he was able to "come to terms" with the breakup by creating his most recent album.
He stated that divorce is a protracted process, so it definitely affects the album's mood.
It follows Noel's recent admission that he and Sara ended their 12-year marriage in January. Not atypical for couples in their 50s, he said that the couple got tired of one another.
Noel's second wife, Sara, was met in a Space nightclub in Ibiza in 2000, the year before he separated from his first wife, Meg Matthews, 57, who was the mother of his 23-year-old son Anaïs.
At the height of Brit Pop in the mid-1990s, the ex-couple was well-known for leading a wild life and partying hard with members of the infamous Primrose Hill elite in north London, which included actress Sadie Frost and supermodel Kate Moss.
However, after their breakup, it was claimed that Noel had an affair with Sara, a claim they both refuted.
Russell Brand was among the guests at Noel and Sara's £60,000 wedding in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest. Liam, Noel's younger brother and former bandmate, said he wasn't invited.
They share their sons, Sonny, 12, and Donovan, 15.
