Lana Del Rey Wrote 2 Songs for Tim Burton's 'Big Eyes'
2014 has been a huge year for Lana Del Rey, appearing on the cover of "Rolling Stone" and scoring her first No. 1 album, and next month she will be capping off her stellar year with the premiere of Tim Burton's latest film "Big Eyes," which features two new songs from the "Ultraviolence" singer. "Tim showed her the film and she fell in love with it," screenwriter and producer Larry Karaszewski told "The Hollywood Reporter." "Women in particular seem to get the movie, and Lana really got the movie." Big Eyes tells the true story of American painter Margaret Keane (Amy Adams) whose work was credited to her husband Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz) during the 1950s and '60s. Del Rey contributed two songs to the film: "Big Eyes" and "I Can Fly," both of which are written from the perspective of Margaret Keane.
