• Tyler Perry Will Host 'The Passion' on Fox, a Live Religious Musical About Jesus

    On Tuesday (Dec. 15), Fox announced they've got some big projects lined up in the music department for 2016. The network has called on actor and director Tyler Perry to host and narrate a two-hour live religious broadcast called 'The Passion.' The musical will follow the uplifting story of Jesus of Nazareth and The Last Supper.

    Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have signed with Universal Music in a new partnership. The business venture was announced today (Dec. 15) by Universal Music Publishing Group chairman and CEO Jody Gerson. The "Confident" singer has made a deal with Universal for global publishing rights for Safehouse Publishing, which is a sector of her pet project Safehouse Records. Safe house records is additionally fronted by Nick Jonas and the duo's manger Phil McIntyre.
