The first trailer for the new Brian Wilson biopic dropped recently. 'Love & Mercy' will highlight the iconic singer-songwriter's time with The Beach Boys as well as his period of mental unrest, creative struggle and eventual return to music. The movie was shown for the first time at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and is slated for a screening at South by Southwest in March. Lions Gate will release the biopic worldwide June 5, 'Billboard' noted. -

The members of U2 are still talking about their September release 'Songs of Innocence,' but not because they necessarily want to talk about it. Bono said the band's current concentration is writing new material. Now Guy-Manel de Homen-Christo and Thomas Bangalter are being immortalized with unmasked wooden statues in a new exhibit being done by sculptor Xavier Veilhan. Gary Richards's electronic music promotion company Hard Events, which runs the Hard Festival, has announced a new single-day touring concert across North America this year. Titled the "Go Hard" tour, the five-city endeavor will bring 25 artists, including Eric Prydz, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis and RL Grime to Dallas, Seattle, Miami, Toronto and New Orleans. -
