Last night, Feb. 7, in Los Angeles, as he was leaving the House of Blues after a performance by Big Sean and during which he was brought out alongside Meek Mill and J. Cole, Yeezy was approached by an aspiring rapper on the street hoping to get a chance to have his moment to impress West. Kanye obliged with young man and gave the aspiring rapper an unofficial tryout by spitting a few bars, all the while Justin Bieber taunted him in the background. -
Bob Dylan Receives MusiCares Person of the Year Award; Bruce Springsteen, Beck and Jack White Pay Tribute
A star-studded lineup showed up at the MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony Friday night, Feb. 6, to pay tribute to Bob Dylan. Bruce Springsteen, Beck and Jack White paid tribute by performing renditions of some of the folk legend's classic tunes before Dylan himself gave a speech filled with attitude. He thanked famous musicians who covered his songs in the past -- like Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash and Nina Simone -- while telling off critics like Lieber & Stoller and Merle Haggard. Unfortunately for fans, Dylan did not perform. -
Former AC/DC Drummer Chris Slade Will Join Group for Grammys and 'Rock or Bust' Tour
After weeks of speculation on who would takeover drumming duties for Phil Rudd of AC/DC, Chris Slade has confirmed that he will join the band for its Grammy performance and Rock or Bust tour. Slade, who played with the band for a stretch in the 1990s, shared the news via Facebook. The band has yet to comment and there's no official word if Slade will be the permanent replacement. Rudd has a court date scheduled for April to deal with some legal issues, but he has stated that he wants his job back. -

We recently told you guys that Rosie O'Donnell has decided to pull the plug on her second stint as a co-host on ABC's The View just a few short months after joining the daily chatfest. She initially chalked up her departure to being needed at home to care for her kids after splitting with her wife, Michelle Rounds, but anyone that has caught the show recently knows that O'Donnell has been feuding with Whoopi Goldberg. They agree on virtually nothing and have never found a way to be okay with each other while holding opposing opinions, so the result is an enormous amount of strain on the entire production. -

Bill Cosby has not one, but two concerts scheduled today in Boston at the Wilbur Theatre and upon learning that between 200-300 protesters are expected to be outside of the venue, he issued a statement to what's left of his loyal fans. Life has changed a lot for the legendary comedian who has spent the last several months plagued by allegations of rape, sexual abuse and drugging, by a parade of different women. Katie Couric is Reportedly Interested in Brian Williams' Job at NBC News
Brian Williams is in a world of trouble over at NBC News and that means that a handful of veteran reporters are wondering if his missteps could provide an opportunity that doesn't come along very often. Williams is currently taking a leave of absence from NBC Nightly News for "misremembering" whether or not he was in a chopper that was hit by RPG fire in 2003. Once the network figures out what else Williams may have inaccurately remembered in his other tales of heroic actions, his fate will be determined. Yesterday we were talking about Bruce Jenner and how his sex change is affecting his entire family and then, just like that something happened that could easily change all of his plans.
