• The Band Perry Enlists Pharrell Williams For Work On New Album

    The Band Perry are hard at work on the their third studio album, which follows up their 2013 effort Pioneer. This time around, they are taking a page from Taylor Swift's book and looking to the world of pop for inspiration. In an new interview with CMT's Cody Alan, the country trio revealed that they've been working with hit producer Pharrell Williams on new music.

  • Harmonix Announces 'Rock Band 4' for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

    Fake musicians, rejoice! The video game that made millions of dreams become living-room realities, 'Rock Band,' has announced the fourth installment of the franchise. Details about the new edition are scarce, but developer Harmonix did offer some good news: The new game will be compatible with all the previous installments -- minus 'The Beatles: Rock Band,' for licensing reasons. As 'Wired' pointed out, Rock Band 4 will be out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the fall. Lead developer Daniel Sussman said the company has made the fourth installment compatible with songs and instruments from the previous games out of respect to dedicated customers.

    2014 marked the 15th anniversary of Eminem's label Shady Records. Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg celebrated the milestone with the release of the compilation 'Shady XV' that features the likes of 50 Cent, Yelawolf, Royce Da 5'9" and others. Now 'Complex' has created a 32-minute documentary -- 'Not Afraid: The Shady Records Story' -- on the history of the label, from its inception until what it has become today, from its glory days in the early 2000s to its more scaled back form today with artists like Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse and Royce Da 5'9" on the roster. The film sits with a variety of guests who have been crucial to the development of the label and Eminem as an artist over this career, notably Rosenberg, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, whose album 'Get Rich or Die Trying' was released through Shady Records.

This morning, March 5, the jury that has spent months listening to details during the penalty phase of this case decided that they cannot agree on a punishment. She has escaped the death penalty with a second hung jury.
