• Tomorrowland Squashes Rumors Of India Expansion in 2015

    Rumors have swirled around a potential expansion for Tomorrowland expansion to India. It seemed almost a done deal when Goa travel minister came out with comments last October that "The event organizers have approached us and have shown interest to host the event in mid[dle] of January." However, this was not to be the case. Shortly thereafter, Debby Wilsmen, the chief press officer for ID&T festival was quoted in a Belgian paper Het Laaste Nieuws via DNA India saying "This brief note is to respect and salute the Indian Tomorrowland fans and media, and to clarify that absolutely no decision has been made as to whether the next expansion of Tomorrowland will take place in India or in any other country in the world."

    Some big names in Hollywood and rock are joining the HBO family soon. Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger's music industry show highlighting the business in the 1970s finally received a green light. "The Departed" director will oversee the pilot while "Boardwalk Empire's" Terrence Winter will take the role of showrunner, "Collider" reports. Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano and Andrew "Dice" Clay are all set to star in the untitled series.Bobby Cannavale ("Boardwalk Empire") will play Richie Finestra, a record executive in New York City in the middle of a "drug and sex-fueled music business as punk and disco were breaking out." A press release revealed that Finestra will be facing a big life decision, but no specifics were given.Wilde has been tapped to play Finestra's wife, Devon. Romano will be Finestra's head of promotions Zak Yankovich. The Dice Man will take the role of Frank Rogers, a radio station owner who enjoys cocaine.No word on when production will begin, and the network has yet to set a premiere date.     British boy band superstars One Direction are gearing up for the TV special airing Tuesday, Dec. 23 on NBC at 8 p.m. and have released another teaser to get Directioners excited about the show. Fittingly titled One Direction: The Special, the TV spot will give fans a behind-the-scenes look into 1D on the road, in the studio and on stage, giving fans a more intimate look at the characters and personalities of their favorite artists. The band posted a clip of them playing the ballad "Little Things" from their 2012 studio album Take Me Home at Orlando's Universal Resort on their Youtube channel as a special teaser to the show.
