  • Kaskade and Killagraham Preview 'The Voice' Coach Gwen Stefani 'Baby Don't Lie' Remix [LISTEN]

Gwen Stefani is swinging for the fences with the first remix from her first solo single in six years: "Baby Don't Lie." "The Voice" coach tabs United States dance music flag bearer Kaskade and Skrillex-approved, Milo & Otis member Killagraham to provide a different and more club-friendly take on her tune. The remix plays off the downtempo, reggae vibe crafted by pop super-producers Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco while adding a heavily distorted bass line over Stefani's percussion. Influenced by the current sounds that Killagraham has been producing with Milo & Otis, the pairing craft a midtmepo, trap influenced break that lets the "Spark rhe Fire" singer's lyrics shine through. It is a big change of direction for Kaskade, but an interesting one for the festival mainstay. The video keeps the original trippy visuals and blatant product placement but speeds up sections, where the Kaskade and Killagraham production work is most evident. This is the first official remix to be revealed thus far, but expect more to make their way onto the Internet sometime soon.
