Pete Wentz and Fall Out Boy had a moderately successful comeback in 2013 with Save Rock and Roll and the single "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'Em Up)" after a five-year hiatus, and the bassist says they're "80 percent of the way done" with a sixth album, American Beauty/American Psycho. -
Kenny Chesney Shares Tropical "Christmas In Blue Chair Bay" Music Video [WATCH]
Country superstar Kenny Chesney has shared the music video for his new Christmas single, "Christmas in Blue Chair Bay," which you can check out here. The video finds Chesney spending Christmas on a tropical island, playing guitar in the sand and taking rides of sailboats while the rest of us freeze back up here in the States like a bunch of chumps. The video concludes with Chesney, along with his friends and/or family, wishing everyone a merry Christmas (and flashing some heavy metal devil horns, for some reason). -
Corey Taylor Talks Jim Root's Dismissal from Stone Sour, Says Things Were 'Awkward' in Slipknot for Awhile
Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor recently discussed the reasoning behind why guitarist Jim Root was dismissed from Stone Sour. Root, who plays guitar in Slipknot and also worked with Stone Sour, was kicked out of the latter in 2013. It was a necessary move, Taylor said, in order to ensure both bands survived. Stone Sour is readying its upcoming album of covers while Slipknot is out on the road in support of .5: The Gray Chapter. -
Gucci Mane Shares New Track "Dead People" Featuring Raury [LISTEN]
Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Raury have teamed up for a new track titled "Dead People," which you can check out here. The track moves along with a pretty gnarly electronic beat and some quirky synths, while Gucci delivers the hook and the first verse. Raury comes out on top, however, delivering a rapid-fire verse that totally brightens up the song's murky, relaxed tempo. As the single's artwork suggests, the titular "Dead People" refer to hundred dollar bills with pictures of Ben Franklin on them, which can't accurately be called "dead presidents" since Franklin was never president. -

Michael Brown's Ex-Con Stepfather Louis Head is Being Investigated for Inciting Ferguson Riots
By now I think nearly everyone has seen the video of Michael Brown's stepfather shouting into the crowd, "Burn this b**** down!" shortly after the grand jury announced its' decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 shooting that killed the teen. While many have said that Louis Head, Brown's step-dad, wasn't actually inciting violence, he was just reacting to the pain in that moment, the Ferguson police department doesn't necessarily see it that way. -
CBS Ready to Go Dark on Dish Network This Thursday if Carriage Deal Isn't Reached
As many as 14 million Dish Network subscribers could find themselves without access to CBS's programming if a new contract isn't in place by 7pm on Thursday. The network claims to have worked hard with Dish Network to reach a new agreement for carriage and at this point, they'd rather go dark than stay stuck in the limbo that they are currently sitting in. CBS officially issued a statement today explaining their perspective. -

Recently reunited punk heroes Sleater-Kinney have shared another new song from their upcoming album "No Cities To Love," an unruly riff storm titled "Surface Envy," which you can check out below. The track, which originally premiered during an NPR interview but has now surfaced online, is classic Sleater-Kinney: dark post-punk riffs played on fuzzy guitars with singer Corin Tucker wailing over the top of it all, so diehard fans will not be disappointed. Tucker's voice has certainly matured, but she still maintains its distinctive power. -

The BRTHR-directed clip finds Charli breaking up with her clueless boyfriend and then hitting the bowling alley to pick up guys and play a show with her band (this must be Asbury Lanes, then). The video is shot with a bizarre combination of low-budget graininess and a bright neon color palette, which gives it a visual aura vaguely reminiscent of a grindhouse horror flick from the '70s. -

It has been a year full of serious changes and transitions for the Kardashian family and momager Kris Jenner really has done her best to try and keep the family empire up and running in spite of all the chaos.
