Consequence of Sound reports that Sept. 17 (which is today) has been declared Foo Fighters Day in the city of Richmond, Virginia by Mayor Dwight Jones. This declaration comes on the same day that the multi-platinum rock band has agreed to perform a crowdfunded show at Richmond's National Theater, which will be the first time the Foos have performed in Virginia's capital city in 16 years. -
