    Baauer just announced his debut artist album Aa in the most casual way - sitting on a couch on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, while Leikeli47 performed their new single together "Day Ones." Now the "Harlem Shake" producer has announced US tour dates for his First Foot Tour that will support the upcoming album.

    Last year, HBO purchased the distribution rights at SXSW to Mavis!, a new documentary about the life, career and struggles of Civil-Rights activists and Soul/R&B singer Mavis Staples. This week, we got to watch the first trailer for the TV movie, which features some great archival live and recording footage of the performer as well as interviews with other artists. In 2018, the Johnny Cash Trail and Overpass is getting a 40-foot tall statue of the "Folsom Prison Blues" singer, made by artist Gary Tillery, nicknamed the "Man in Black." If all of these references to Cash's songs weren't enough for you, when the sun sets behind the statue, certain details make it look like Cash in engulfed in a "Ring of Fire."
