• George Ezra Makes SNL Debut With 'Budapest,' 'Blame It On Me,' Host The Rock Sings 'Franchise Viagra' [WATCH]

New British up-and-comer George Ezra performed two of his hit singles this weekend, during The Rock-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live. Marking his biggest U.S. television performance to date, the folk singer delivered joyous renditions of "Budapest" and "Blame It On Me" off his debut studio album Wanted On Voyage. Interestingly, he was sort of dressed like the top half of that meme of The Rock from the '80s, if only he also had on the jeans and fanny pack, and if that black top were a turtleneck. But we digress...
  • Zayn Malik Quits One Direction: Band Removes Vocalist from Tour Montage Video, Assigns Solo Parts

The world of One Direction was rocked last week when—just after leaving the band's "On The Road Again" Tour—Zayn Malik officially quit the boy band. The group has continued on the tour as Directioners continue to recover from the trauma (as reported by our own Carolyn Menyes last week), but obvious logistical issues have come to the fore: What happens to band merchandise that still features Malik prominently (aka most of it)? The group hasn't quite figured that issue out yet but it has solved a slightly simpler issue, apparently having successfully edited the vocalist out of the band's opening montage video for last weekend's show in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tech N9ne will be releasing Special Effects during the first week of May, and although we haven't seen a tracklist yet, the Kansas City emcee has already booked a full list of tour dates. The rapper—joined by Murs, Chris Webby, King 810 (notable for being a metal band, not a hip-hop group), ZUSE and of course his buddy Krizz Kaliko—will cram nearly 50 dates into less than two months.

Instead, he talked about touring with Madonna and his original intentions to be an actor, and became friends with Fallon's other guest Will Forte. The trio also got to touch fish and other "river monsters" with 'River Monsters' host Jeremy Wade.
  • Wale Featuring J. Cole "The Pessimist" Shared From 'The Album About Nothing' [LISTEN]

Wale is only two days away from the release of his fourth artist album, 'The Album About Nothing,' and he has released possibly the most anticipated collab yet -- "The Pessimist" -- alongside J. Cole. Though J. Cole was not originally listed on the initial tracklist release, it was known that he was one of the few features on the album. Fitting with the theme of the album, "The Pessimist" kicks off with a George Costanza sound bite from season three, episode 17.

Unfortunately, the original track 16, “Girlfriends” that was to feature previously unheard vocals from Aaliyah did not make the cut and may never be released to the public.
