  • Billy Corgan Fired Smashing Pumpkins Drummer For Being A "Twitch" With "ADD"

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has a notoriously strained relationship with the people he's played music with, so it came as no surprise when he fired drummer Mike Byrne back in June. Though the reasons for Byrne's dismissal weren't made entirely clear at the time, Corgan discusses his decision in a lengthy (and occasionally confusing) blog post made to the Smashing Pumpkins' website, in which he blames the 24-year-old Byrne for holding up the recording of the band's upcoming albums, calling him a "twitch" with "ADD."
  • Blur's "Parklife" Is Being Used To Mock Russell Brand On The Internet

One of the defining traits of comedian Russell Brand is his heavy Cockney accent, and when coupled with his tendency towards rambling wordiness, it can often make for some incomprehensible sound bites, and least for American audiences. According to The Independent, however, one twitter user has come up with a perfect, succint way to mock the comedian: after anything he says, simply shout "Parklife!"
  • Lil B to Lecture at MIT

Bay Area rapper Lil B has made quite a nice (and unexpected) side career for himself on the lecture circuit, giving speeches at colleges such as New York University, the University of California Riverside, and Virginia Tech. Today, the 25-year-old rapper announced his next speaking engagement via twitter, which will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) later this month on Nov. 21.
  • FKA twigs Performs 'Two Weeks' on 'Jimmy Fallon' [WATCH]

She may have missed out on the Mercury Prize, but FKA twigs’s star is still quickly on the rise. On last night’s episode of "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," the British R&B singer — and girlfriend of Robert Pattinson, it should be noted — performed her LP1 single “Two Weeks,” complete with a light show and stunning “air sculptures,” which "Pitchfork" noted were created by artist Daniel Wurtzel. You can check out FKA twigs’s "Tonight Show" performance of “Two Weeks” here: “Two Weeks” was the first single to be released from FKA twigs's debut album "LP1," which was released in August.
  • Dave Grohl Says Bands Performing Old Albums 'Lazy,' Considers Re-Recording Foo Fighters's Debut Album

Dave Grohl has long been a champion for authenticity in music, famously using his 2012 Grammy speech to celebrate "the human element of music," and in a recent "NME" interview, the Foo Fighters frontman was at it again, denouncing the recent trend of bands going on nostalgia tours to perform their old albums in full. "F--k, man! I don't like it when a band's tour is just to play one past record," Grohl vented to "NME." "I f--king hate that. I don't like it when bands do that. It's presumptuous. It's lazy." The topic of these nostalgia tours came up when Grohl was discussing the Foo Fighters's plans for their upcoming 20th anniversary, which at one point included a re-recording of the band's self-titled 1995 debut album, which Grohl originally recorded by himself in a matter of days.

Atlanta rap trio Migos are dropping their new mixtape "Rich N---a Timeline" today, but to stir up some last-minute excitement, they have shared one of the tape’s tracks, "Hit ‘Em," through Soundcloud, which you can check out below. The Deco-produced track features a sparse beat with some woozy synths and piano plinks, though Migos are the real stars here, showing off their impressive and hectic flows, which is a breath of fresh air amid all the rappers who insist on sluggsh, mumbled deliveries — hello, Chief Keef.
  • T-Pain Drops Autotune for 'Let Me Through' with Lil Wayne [LISTEN]

Even though T-Pain recently proved to the world that he can in fact sing without the use of his signature Autotune —and quite well — he drops the singing entirely for his new track “Let Me Through,” which he raps his way through alongside none other than Lil Wayne, sans-Autotune. The track premiered on "Sway in the Morning" — which explains the annoying “Sway in the Morning Exclusive!” interjections throughout — and features some refreshingly minimal and unfussy electronic production. You can check out T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s “Let Me Through” here, via "Complex": “Let Me Through” is the just the latest in a long line of T-Pain/Lil Wayne collaborations, which includes hits such as “Can’t Believe It” and “Got Money.” It is not yet clear if this is a standalone single or if it will be included on T-Pain’s upcoming studio album "Stoicville: The Phoenix," which still has yet to be given a release date.

Fans of the Pumpkins will not be disappointed, as the song has a darkly metallic quality reminiscent of their 1995 opus "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness." "I basically sang the whole song the first time I wrote it," frontman Billy Corgan told "The Huffington Post" about "One and All." "It had written itself."

Other cameo appearances in the video include actor Jack Black and models Cara Delevingne and Dita Von Teese. Electronic artist Aphex Twin, whose song "Ageipolis" is sampled in the track, has been rumored by some sites as appearing in the video, though "Pitchfork" notes that he does not actually appear.
