For her performance on BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge," the "Royals" singer once again flaunted her love of those genres by performing a cover of Jeremih's recent hit "Don't Tell 'Em," which you can check out below. "I have basically been a really big fan of this song since I first started hearing it around," Lorde told BBC, via "Pitchfork." "I love the vocal melodies. I think they're really smart and just consider them cool. It's quite a saucy song or something and I think it would be interesting to flip the dynamic and make that power mine." John Fogerty of CCR Defends The Boss's 'Concert for Valor' Performance of 'Fortunate Son'
At Tuesday's Concert for Valor in Washington, D.C., Nov. 11, Bruce Springsteen stirred up plenty of controversy when he performed Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 anti-war classic "Fortunate Son" alongside Dave Grohl and Zac Brown, with many conservative critics saying that the song's message was disrespectful to the veterans that the concert was honoring. In response to the outcry, CCR frontman John Fogerty, writer of "Fortunate Son," has released a statement defending Springsteen's performance. "'Fortunate Son' is a song I wrote during the Vietnam War over 45 years ago," Fogerty said in the statement, via "Rolling Stone." "As an American and a songwriter, I am proud that the song still has resonance. I do believe that its meaning gets misinterpreted and even usurped by various factions wishing to make their own case. What a great country we have that a song like this can be performed in a setting like Concert for Valor." -

Ne-Yo's Voice Gives Woman Seizures, Forces Her to Get Operation
We all have songs or particular artists who get on our nerves whenever they come on the radio, but nobody can really claim that hearing a particular artist is actually life-threatening, can they? Actually, someone can: Zoe Fennessy of Retford, United Kingdom, who suffers from epileptic seizures whenever she hears a song by R&B singer Ne-Yo. Because of this, she had to undergo an operation. Fennessy has been suffering from seizures since 2006, and was officially diagnosed with epilepsy in 2008, but in 2011 she suffered from her first "musicogenic seizure" after hearing Pitbull's song "Give Me Everything," which features Ne-Yo. "It took me a while to realize that they were being triggered by his songs," Fennessy told "SWNS," "and I think it wasn't until I had heard it for about the 15th time that it finally twigged what was going on."
