    Imagine Dragons started out strong on the Billboard 200 with its second album Smoke + Mirrors, debuting at no. 1 with the band's highest sales week ever. Although its last album Night Visions has sold more than 2.5 million copies, those sales came from its staying-power, whereas its highest selling week was "just" 83,000 copies. Dragons' new set debuted with 195,000 equivalent album sales after its first week.

Her rumored boyfriend, Meek Mill, will reportedly join the female rapper on the road.

There's even a nickname for the rumored couple: Omeeka. In a new interview with Vogue, she vaguely addresses her relationship with Mill and talks about the "single life."

    The NBA All-Star Game fell into an unfortunate time slot last night, somewhat competing with the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary, so perhaps fewer folks than usual tuned in for the latter half of the game as well as Ariana Grande's stellar alftime show. It was a (relatively) low-key event, at least compared to the huge gathering of talent that was the 2014 show in New Orleans, but the pop start gave the crowd what it wanted (hits) and brought a little bit of guest flair in the form of Nicki Minaj.

The record shifted 108,000 equivalent units, a slight uptick from last week. 1989 is one of four albums that have spent at least ten weeks at no. 1 since 2010, the others being Fearless, the Frozen soundtrack as well as Adele's 21. Swift's album is followed this week by Now 53, the newest edition of the hits collection, at no. 2 with 99,000 units moved.
