SZA is readying her debut album "A," but she has had plenty of other projects to keep her busy. The most impressive feat was penning Nicki Minaj's new track "Feeling Myself" featuring Beyoncé. The songstress told swaysuniverse.com that the gig just happened, but she is glad it did."Yeah, I wrote parts of that. A nice chunk of that [laughs], I'm on the credits so I think it's really interesting. It was dope meeting Beyoncé, she's tight, she's perfect, actually," she said."Literally like on God it was something I could never explain to anyone," she added. "The call just got put in and then I arrived [laughs], I have no idea. Hit-Boy produced and I wrote the lyrics so Nicki [Minaj] and Beyoncé are singing some of the things that I wrote to it. But him [Hit-Boy] and I just work really well together like we vibe together just because he's such a cool kid. He's not pretentious at all, for as accomplished as he is he's just super welcoming and drinks like chocolate milk all day, honestly the nicest kid."The singer, aka Solana Rowe, went on to outline her first album, which follows up EPs "S" and "Z." -

She has shown her acting chops in "The Other Woman" and numerous music videos, but in a recently surfaced clip, fans can see how it all started for "The Pinkprint" rapper, "Vibe" noted.Aspiring actors and artists need to pay attention here: You have to start somewhere. For Minaj, somewhere was in a high-school classroom portraying "Angry Phone Girl." The brief scene has the hip-hop superstar demanding another woman make a call so she gets her baby back. Minaj gets so into the role that the teacher has to remind her to be careful when she throws the phone toward the other actor. Although Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" is stuck behind Taylor Swift's 1989 on the "Billboard" 200, it recently hit No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It is the "Anaconda" rapper's third effort to take the top spot on the chart, following 2012's "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" and 2010's "Pink Friday." It is also her third album with "pink" in the title."Anaconda" and "Only" hit No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list — "Anaconda" spent six weeks on top. "Bed of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey and "Feeling Myself" featuring Beyoncé are just now starting to make some moves on the charts.Minaj has been all over the headlines recently for differing reasons. She killed it on "Saturday Night Live" earlier in the month. The rapper has also been involved in a public back-and-forth with ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels. -

Her record will be a tough one to break considering Sam Smith only topped it for three weeks straight and Ariana Grande only clocked in two. -

Taylor Swift's "1989" moved back into the No. 1 spot on the "Billboard" 200, bringing its total, nonconsecutive weeks at the top to six. It sold 375,000 copies last week, bringing the total for the year to 3.34 million. The record is on pace to overtake the "Frozen" soundtrack, which sold 3.46 million so far. Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" sits comfortably at the No. 2 spot, "Billboard" notes.Swift is tied with Mariah Carey for total weeks at No. 1 with 30. Only one other woman has them beat with 46: Whitney Houston. The Beatles are still in first for all artists with 132 weeks at No. 1.Pentatonix has the No. 3 spot with "That's Christmas to Me." Minaj was able to crack the top 10 recently, and D'Angelo's new "Black Messiah" hit No. 5. "The Pinkprint" did not perform as well as the artist's previous effort "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded." The former sold 244,000 in its first week while the latter hit 253,000 — it also debuted at No. 1. -
Beyoncé's '7/11' Remixed by French Montana, Detail [LISTEN]
Bronx rapper French Montana has teamed up with producer Detail for a remix of Beyoncé's recent single "7/11," which you can check out below. While the original track is a hard-hitting club banger, this remix replaces the synths with an airy acoustic guitar line and some piano. Nicki Minaj has been featured on the cover of numerous magazines this year, and Rolling Stone is apparently next in line. An image of the upcoming cover surfaced today (via RapRadar), which features The Pinkprint femcee in a thin white tank-top with her breasts partially exposed. It is reportedly the cover of the publication's January 2015 issue and is the first time Minaj has graced the cover of the iconic music magazine solo.
