• Bestival Toronto 2016 Lineup: Tame Impala, The Cure, Grimes, Odesza, Jamie xx Headline

    Bestival has been taking place in the UK since 2004 as a four-day event on the Isle of Wight. Last year the award-winning made its North American debut with a two-day offshoot in Toronto over the summer. This trend continues in the summer of 2016 and organizers have announced the lineup, which will be headlined by Tame Impala, The Cure, Odesza, Grimes and Jamie xx.

Now that the album has been sufficiently streamed, frontman Kevin Parker spoke out to give Rihanna his praises on a cover well done.

    One of the largest fan voted competitions, the triple j Hottest 100 countdown has unveiled its 2016 list. The reveal takes place today, Jan. 26 during Australia Day festivities as artists tune in to Triple J to see if their tracks place in the countdown. The countdown has some international artists sprinkled in like The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer and Drake, but it is dominated by local acts like Tame Impala, The Rubens and Courtney Barnett who lobby their fans for votes.

    M83 is planning for the release of a new album, the follow-up to 2011's Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, and to accompany the recording plans, on Tuesday (Jan. 12), Anthony Gonzalez announced a round of North American tour dates for spring 2016, including previously announced shows at Coachella, Governors Ball and Sasquatch Music Festival.

    Tame Impala have announced a new batch of world tour dates in 2016, starting Europe, but then heading to South America and then arriving in the United States over the Northern hemisphere's summer.
