    Just as most people go to a festival for the headliners and true fans stay for the rest of the lineup, most people just go to a festival and call it a day, while the party animals head out to the afters well into the morning. As a two-weekend festival, Coachella is known for the week of parties that take place around the two weekends, before it, during both weekends and in between them. The shows take place all across Los Angeles at venues like El Rey, The Glass House, The Roxy, Fonda, The Echo, Club Nokia and elsewhere. What has been dubbed by some as "Localchella," artists like FKA Twigs, Action Bronson, Madeon, Interpol, Belle & Sebastien and many others will be appearing at this year's sideshows.

    Former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has announced a brief run of North American tour dates leading up to his appearance at the Boston Calling Festival May 23. According to "Alternative Press," the tour kicks off in Minneapolis May 15 and will also take Way to Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Toronto and Montreal.

    Although they don't have a new album to support (at least not yet), Scottish alt-rock veterans Primal Scream have announced a brief North American tour to follow their appearance at Austin Psych Fest's Levitation Festival on May 9. According to Brooklynvegan, the band will hit New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City, finishing up in Brooklyn on May 21.

    Atlanta's Shaky Knees Music Festival announced its 2015 lineup, and it certainly holds its own against some of the bigger events. The Strokes, Wilco and The Avett Brothers are set to headline along with Ryan Adams, The Pixies and Social Distortion. Tickets for the three-day festival, which will run May 8 to 10, go on sale Friday, Jan. 16, "Consequence of Sound" reports. The third annual fest is offering an array of talent from alternative to metal, with most bands falling in the indie rock category. Here are the other artists you can look forward to seeing if you go: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Tame Impala, Brand New, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mastodon, Interpol, TV on the Radio, James Blake, Neutral Milk Hotel, Flogging Molly, Manchester Orchestra, Dr. Dog, Milky Chance, Death from Above 1979, Spiritualized, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Kaiser Chiefs, ZZ Ward, Panda Bear, Clutch, American Football, The Black Lips, The Devil Makes Three, The Mountain Goats, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, The Kooks, Wavves, Built to Spill, Mac DeMarco, Diamond Rugs, Minus the Bear and Old 97s.     Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala quietly announced today that they will be releasing their highly anticipated third album at some point in 2015. According to Consequence of Sound, this announcement came in an e-mail from the band's management company Spinning Top Music, and though it doesn't specify the album's title or exact release date, it does promise that the album will drop at some point in 2015, along with albums from The Growl, Gunns, Fascinator, and Tame Impala off-shoot POND.

Today, however, the writers of the original article are claiming that, "it was a joke." Unfortunately for Tame Impala, this joke has apparently prompted Ruiz to consider some completely serious legal action.
