• Migos and Trinidad James Release "Stankin"

    Atlanta rap trio Migos and "All Gold Everything" rapper Trinidad James have unveiled their contribution titled "Stankin" to an upcoming compilation mixtape 'The Warm-Up Vol. 1.' Compiled by Atlanta's Hot 107.9, The Durtty Boyz and DJ Tonee, the project has leaked out its first big collaboration that appears to be an older Migos single as they talk about their life on the streets, dealing drugs and being the head honcho. James added a verse of his own in a similar Atlanta sound with a rolling bed of 808s and crisp snares. Listen to the track below via Complex.

  • Major Lazer Cartoon Will Premiere on FXX Next Month

    Major Lazer's long-awaited cartoon series finally has a launch date. The premiere will take place on Thursday, April 16 at midnight as a part of FXX's regular Animation Domination programming. According to reports, the show will not only feature the Major Lazer character that has been a fixture in their videos over the past few years, but it will also have guest appearances from stars like comedians Aziz Ansari and Andy Samberg and musicians like Tiësto, Trinidad James, Charli XCX, RiFF RAFF, The Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koening and many more.

  • Trinidad Jame$ Announces New Album 'No One Is SaFe,' Shares 'BlackMan Pt. 2' [LISTEN]

    Atlanta rapper Trinidad Jame$ has announced the release of a new album titled "No One Is SaFe," which will drop Jan. 20. According to "The Fader," the album will be a free release and feature guest appearances by iLoveMakonnen, OG Maco, Peewee Longway, Offset, Problem, Lil Debbie, Scotty ATL and Big K.R.I.T. Trinidad has shared the album's lead single "BlackMan Pt. 2," produced by Diplo, which you can check out below. "I'm a huge fan of Diplo's production and spirit as an artist," Trinidad explained to "The Fader" about "BlackMan Pt. 2." "I heard the beat on SoundCloud and it inspired me to get focused on what type of message I really wanted to relay this year with my music and as an artist — and also a man in this world, which is the most important part of being in this game."     A$AP Ferg's upcoming solo album Ferg Forever is set to drop tomorrow, Nov. 29, but today the Harlem rapper has shared the album's tracklist, which you can check out below. The album includes Ferg's recently released "Talk It," and includes guest appearances by YG, Twista, M.I.A., and Big Sean, as well as A$AP Nast, the only other A$AP Mob member to appear. Production is handled by Crystal Caines, Stelios, Big K.R.I.T., and more.

  • A$AP Ferg Shares 'This Side' Featuring YG [LISTEN]

    A$AP Ferg and YG's BestCoast Connection Tour kicks off tomorrow, Nov. 13, so it is only appropriate that they would record a new song together to celebrate. "This Side" features a highly repetitive trap beat courtesy of THE FAM, while both Ferg and YG deliver some brilliantly eccentric and nimble verses.   • YG, ASAP Ferg Announce 'BestCoast Connection' Tour Dates For November [FULL SCHEDULE]

    Compton rapper YG and New York rapper A$AP Ferg have teamed up for a brief string of tour dates in November, Complex reports. The "BestCoast Connection" Tour — not affiliation with the band Best Coast — begins Nov. 13 in Philadelphia and ends Nov. 25 in Boston, making stops along the East Coast — apparently the best coast — as well as stops in Michigan and Toronto.
