Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might also fix their flop movie from two decades ago after working out their relationship.

The now-married couple first met in 2002 when they worked together in the film, "Gigli," released in 2003. They immediately dated afterward and got engaged, though they decided to call it off due to "intense media scrutiny" surrounding their planned wedding at the time.

After reuniting and making their relationship work two decades later, the pair seemingly expressed their desire to make a new film after "Gigli" flopped.

Will Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Work on a New Movie?

Lopez's new documentary, "The Greatest Love Story Never Told," shared behind-the-scenes footage of her film, "This Is Me...Now: A Love Story."

Carlito Olivero appeared in one scene where he spoke with Affleck after the "Justice League" actor gave directorial opinions on the set. According to Mr. Young Guy, his brother is Affleck's biggest fan before praising him for his performance in Armageddon.

He then asked both Affleck and Lopez about their potential new film together after "Gigli," and they both laughed at it as the "Let's Get Loud" singer explained it was why they have not done another movie since.

The romantic comedy film, released in 2003, only has a 6 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It only grossed $7.2 million against its $75.6 million budget.

While a new project remains in the air, Lopez told her husband they would do one, one day.

Why Did Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Break Up in 2004?

The new documentary also looked back at Lopez and Affleck's failed relationship two decades before their reunion and marriage.

"Ben and I, we broke up three days before our wedding," she said. "We had a big wedding planned-14 ushers and bridesmaids-and three days before, we just crumbled under the pressure."

Affleck also commented on their split and cited a "massive amount of scrutiny" surrounding their private lives as the cause of their breakup.

While they parted ways and moved on with other people afterward, the duo found their way back to each other and reconciled in 2021. They wed in Las Vegas in July 2022 and held a grand ceremony in Georgia the following month.
