Kanye West has always been one of this generation's most enigmatic musicians. Whether it is his godlike ego, ear for future trends and mastering them or interesting public outbursts, West has always been one to entertain. Now we have a new piece of news from West about a curious habit he and his wife have picked up on, but for different reasons. Kim says she does not want to get wrinkles because her looks is a large majority of the sell, but West takes a totally different approach to why he does not smile. While at The Daily Front Row's Fashion Los Angeles Awards, West revealed why he doesn't show his pearly whites to the world and the reason is a bit different - as one might expect from Kanye via Huffington Post.
"I looked at all these people's photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren't smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, 'Why you not smiling?' and I think, not smiling makes me smile ... When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling 'cause it just wouldn't look as cool."
"Not smiling makes me smile" is just Kanye being Kanye. That is the best quote we have yet in 2015 from him, but there is still plenty of time for him to top himself, because West can better Kanye.
Looking past Kanye's smile or lack thereof, there are indications that new Kanye West music could be arriving pretty soon. He released the second Paul McCartney song they did together, with the help of Rihanna, titled "FourFiveSeconds." He also reportedly stopped by the Def Jam offices to play the new album, which would appear to indicate it is done -- the final preparations for release just need to be finalized.
