Pete Davidson has clearly had a "very strange year," and Ye is mostly responsible. As part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles on Thursday night, the comedian addressed what it's been like to be the target of Kanye West's ire since he began dating Kim Kardashian, including whether he was hurt whenever close friends chose to work with Ye.

"I had an AIDS scare this year. Yeah, I did. And you're like, 'Pete, Wow. What's going on in your life? Are you sharing needles? You're doing heroin? You have tons of unprotected sex?" Davidson started. "No, Kanye told me I had AIDS and he's a genius. I was like, 'Oh fuck.' I better call my doctor. The guy who made College Dropout thinks I have AIDS."

Davidson stated that he underwent a test for the sexually transmitted disease and "it turns out I do not have AIDS. I only appear to have it." The comedian made a joke about John Mulaney calling him and encouraging him to "spread a rumor that [West] has polio," since accusing someone of having AIDS feels like an antiquated insult.

"It's been a very strange experience," Davidson said of the lack of advise he's received on how to tackle the matter. He added that people attempted to give him some advice, but even elder pals are hesistant for him to do anything retaliatory because Kanye appears quite angry, Some reportedly wished him the  best of luck.

People have also asked him if he is unhappy because his friend Jack Harlow was featured on Kanye West's Donda 2 song "Louis Bags."

He said no outright.

'"No, he's a rapper. That's his field. That's what they do. It doesn't hurt my feelings," he said. "It would hurt my feelings if I saw Bill Burr at Sunday Service."

West attacked the comedian on social media over his relationship with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Kanye even hinted that Davidson is an addict who can make Kim Kardashian one herself. One can remember his music video too, where he showed off Pete Davidson being decapitated.

Davidson and Kardashian attended the Met Gala together, where Kardashian wore the same outfit Marilyn Monroe wore when she sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to John F. Kennedy.
