Despite *NSYNC's numerous hits and accolades, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass aren't lovers of every song on the album.

During their Tuesday interview with People at the Bilt Rewards' 2023 Winter Holiday House Party in New York, the band members revealed three of their songs that have made them grimace.

The 46-year-old Fatone claimed that looking back, their three hits from 1997: "I Need Love," "Here We Go," and "Riddle," make them cringe.

"Those ones were a little err...The rest we love. It wasn't our style. We weren't a techno group," Bass, 44, elaborated.

"It was basically the dance music that was in Europe at the time, and obviously at that time crunch was in the States," Fatone explained further.

They also talked about whether or not the band would release any new music.

"In a perfect world, that would be great," he said, though Fatone added that it may not be possible.

'It's just one of those things. You know, everybody has to get that time to get in there to get into the studio. I mean, it took us a minute to do the Trolls song. Everybody has their own lives now. A lot of people are married, have kids.' 'We want to do it but it's getting it all together," he added.

At a special showing of Trolls Band Together last month, Bass and Fatone reconnected with fellow members of the boy band NSYNC, Justin Timberlake (42), JC Chasez (47), and Chris Kirkpatrick (51). The soundtrack of the new animated film includes their tune, "Better Place," which they haven't released since 2002. In the DreamWorks Animation follow-up, Timberlake returns to his role as Branch, and the rest of NSYNC also makes an appearance.

The movie, which debuted in theaters on November 17, stars Kirkpatrick as Trickee, Chasez as Hype, Fatone as Ablaze, and Bass as Boom.

Two months had passed since their unexpected reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards in September when they stepped out on the red carpet.

They had previously reunited for the band's Hollywood Walk Of Fame induction ceremony in 2018 as well as during their performance at the 2013 VMAs.

After a twenty-year break, Bass revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he will be recording music with the group again in the studio.

"It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together," he said.

He added, "Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no [time] had passed."

Bass then diclosed, "But there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment. Like, time does so much, and for us to finally be together, it just feels right."
