A surprising cut from the album that ditched his big room, festival-driven sound and went more towards trance that has been a hallmark of Dutch dance music since the 1990s, Hardwell showed some versatility with "Echo" and employed one of the best vocalists in the genre to help him. It was a bright spot on an album that had its moments of brilliance, but was otherwise rather disorganized and disjointed. -
