Jay Z continues his media tour to support the launch of his newly acquired streaming service TIDAL. Yesterday, April 1, HOV spoke at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recording Music and fielded questions from the inquisitive crowd of students who grilled him on a variety of topics, including how TIDAL benefits artists, how it is different from other services and its relationships with labels. Sitting with company executive Vania Schlogel, he also revealed more details about how the service works. He said TIDAL pays the highest royalty percentage and that he does not have a record deal. -

RECESS Music & Ideas Festival has announced its 2015 tour dates. The event concept brings together some of the finest up-and-coming musicians, entrepreneurial minds and startups in the United States together and travels to large college campuses all across the country. The festival will feature musicians like The Chainsmokers, Jessie J, Logic, Matt & Kim, Kyle and others. Presented by Dallas Mavericks owner, 'Shark Tank' host and financial guru Mark Cuban, the touring festival series was created by two Indiana University students. They originally founded the electronic music festival Glowfest, which hosted the likes of Afrojack, but changed their concept to include a speaker series and workshops with bright young minds from around the country. -
