  • Grammys 2015: John Legend & Common Close Out Grammys, Selma Tribute With "Glory" Performance [WATCH]

    John Legend and Common closed out the 2015 Grammys and the Selma tribute with an emotional performance of their song "Glory." Following Beyoncé's moving rendition of "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" by the Rev. Thomas Dorsey, the two men took the stage, backed by a gospel choir and orchestra with images from the film flashing on a screen behind them. Legend sang from behind a grand piano as Common stood on a platform, delivering his verses. "Glory" made for a strong close to the ceremony and a fitting message for Black History month.

    Beck took the stage on the heels of a big win for Album Of The Year to perform the track "Heart Is A Drum" from his Grammy Award winning album Morning Phase alongside Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. The pair came together in a harmonic duet to perform an emotive rendition of the song at the 2015 Grammys. Beck led the song on vocals and on acoustic guitar, while Martin followed his lead, leaning on the mic as he added his own vocal talents to the song.

    Beyoncé was the talk of the Twitterverse well before she took the stage for her performance at the 2015 Grammys, on account of having lost the fight for Album of The Year, by surprise, to Beck. She didn't seem to appear too bothered however, appearing as one of the show's final performances with a rousing rendition of "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," a standard written long ago by the Reverend Thomas Dorsey and made famous by Elvis Presley. Perhaps the most famous performer was Mahalia Jackson, and it was sung by R&B performer/actress Ledisi as Jackson in the film Selma.

    Sia is a live performer known for her elaborate stage sets and help from some of her famous friends, and on Sunday night (Feb. 8), the 1000 Forms of Fear singer brought along Kristen Wiig and her frequent collaborator Maddie Zeigler of Dance Moms for a stunning, theatric performance of her Grammy-nominated single "Chandelier."

    Juanes showed up at the Grammys to show off his cool blend of Latin pop rock with "Juntos." Despite losing Best Latin Pop Album to Mike Farris, Juanes pulled off one slick performance. The Colombian superstar released his sixth studio effort, Loco de Amor (Crazy with Love), in March of last year.

    Continuing the theme of country at the 2015 Grammys, Brandy Clark and Grammy-award winning country singer, songwriter Dwight Yoakam teamed up to perform Clark's song "Hold My Hand" from her 2013 album 12 Stories, our 6th favorite album of the year. The pair kept things very simple as they brought their performance to the center podium for a stripped down, acoustic rendition of the song.

    Sam Smith entered the stage confident and ready to slay the song that got him on the map. The whole crowd looked emotional as the two effortlessly delivered the love song.

The soul legend himself joined Usher, adding some signature harmonica licks at the end of the performance. The crowd accordingly stood for a proper ovation.

Although a seemingly odd pairing, the two acted like best friends on stage for their duet, dancing hand in hand with Gaga channeling Jessica Rabbit with her long black dress, diamond jewelry, and wavy white locks and Bennett dressed in a suit and tie.
