    If you're a musician looking to make it in the music industry, good luck. It's always been a well-known fact that one doesn't just become the next Katy Perry without a ton of hard work and even more pure luck and that most musicians are struggling to make it. However, a new study published by Next Big Sound has revealed that a shocking number of musicians aren't just developing or mid-sized, they're completely undiscovered.
  • Beats Music streaming service launches today

    Beats Music officially launched today. Users can now download a free trial of the app on their iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Phone. Once the initial seven-day trial is up, the paid subscription begins. The service costs $10 a month for an individual plan and $15 for a family plan (which allows for four separate users).

MTV's newest Unplugged star isn't renowned for her abilities on any guitar, but still promises to bring in the viewers: Miley Cyrus.

    Bad news for Outkast fans: It seems the hip-hop duo isn't working on a new album at the moment after all. The rumors started swirling last week after Queen Latifah, the duo's former manager, appeared on The Howard Stern Show and seemingly confirmed that Andre 3000 and Big Boi were planning on hitting the studio soon.
