Artists he's made chart-toppers with include Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, Avril Lavinge, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, it goes on.
  • Q-Tip Teams Up with Leo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill

    Q-Tip is collaborating with actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in a drama television series inspired by his life during the Native Tongues era. Though there is no writer yet, they will reportedly shop the show around to networks as soon as next week. Q-Tip is known as a founding member of A Tribe Called Quest.
  • Hear Angel Olsen's Second Single 'Hi-Five'

    Angel Olsen's Burn Your Fire for No Witness isn't coming out until February 18th, 2014, but she's already releasing a sneak peak at her second single, "Hi-Five." Produced by John Congleton under Jagjaguwar, it's her same trademark vocals, but with the newer guitar sound we heard on the single "Forgiven/Forgotten."

    On December 17th a post ran on xoJane.com entitled "I Dated a Famous Rockstar and All I Got Was Punched in the Face." Part of the "It Happened to Me" series, the anonymous writer has a detailed recount of her alleged relationship with Bright Eyes' front man Conor Oberst. The post has been reblogged on Tumblr and from there spread like wildfire, causing Oberst and his team to release a statement to AbsolutePunk.net.
  • UK Vinyl Sales Exploded in 2013 with Arctic Monkeys and Daft Punk

    It was a "record" breaking year for vinyl sales in the UK. Or at least the highest it's been since 1997 when 817,000 records were sold, The Telegraph reports. Data from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and the Official Charts Company show 780,000 vinyl albums were sold. Topping the sales was Arctic Monkeys' AM and Daft Punk's Random Access Memories.
