She and CNN ran the headline, "HIP-HOP FILM HAD LONG LINES, NO VIOLENCE" and hip-hop personality and Breakfast Club co-host, Charlamagne Tha God, took great offense to. He bestowed Banfield with the ultimate mark of shame, naming her and the rest of CNN the "The Donkey of the Day."

    Director F. Gary Gray's 'Straight Outta Compton' has been a box-office smash, clearing almost $60 million in its first week. As N.W.A.'s story has been brought back into the light, there has been renewed speculation on Dr. Dre's 1991 assault on journalist Dee Barnes, which was not included in the film. Since seeing the film, Barnes has penned an op-ed for Gawker, in which she accuses Gray of being an "opportunist" for presenting a "revisionist history" of the story of N.W.A. and, specifically, Dr. Dre.

    Meek Mill can rest easy for a moment, as there's a new beef that has taken over Twitter, between Zayn Malik and Calvin Harris. It all started when the former One Direction singer retweeted a tweet comparing Miley Cyrus to Taylor Swift, painting Cyrus in a more honorable light than Swift, who is, of course, Harris' girlfriend. The EDM producer then got on his Twitter to defend his girl, Malik took his words as an affront and then things got ugly.
