Ranking PMRC's 'Filthy 15': Madonna, Prince and More Get Dirty
Tipper Gore and a group of other (socially) conservative and influential women gathered 30 years ago to organize the PMRC (or Parents Music Research Center) after listening to the travesty that was Prince's "Darling Nikki." That organization has become the face of the censorship movement in the United States, ruining good album artwork and antagonizing Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Frank Zappa and others for three decades now. When it formed, the group issued a list titled the "Filthy 15," listing tracks that it considered especially repulsive. Music Times is ranking those first 15 songs in terms of potential for wrecking lives. -

Some of heavy metal's biggest names are reportedly joining forces for a tour this spring. According to the production company Hits Entretenimento, the three acts will hit the road on the Monsters Tour, Pollstar reports. Osbourne will headline the festival April 25 in addition to Motörhead, Black Veil Brides, Rival Sons, Coal Chamber and Primal Fear. Kiss is slated for the headline spot the following day with Manowar, Accept, Unisonic, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steel Panther. Judas Priest will join in on both days. The first date of the Monsters Tour is April 30 at Porto Alegre's Zequinha Stadium. No further dates have been announced. Previously, the Prince of Darkness has linked up with both acts. He shared the bill with Judas Priest at a concert in Canada in 2008. Lemmy and the boys joined Osbourne on the Blizzard of Ozz tour in the early 1980s, Ultimate Classic Rock notes. -

9 Great Cameos from Musicians on 'The Simpsons'
The cultural impact of The Simpsons is immeasurable, as you can tell from checking out Joey "Sideshow Joe" DeGroot's list on the number of bands that named songs (or themselves) after references to the animated classic. Celebrities of all stripes realize the kind of power that such a program packs so they'll readily appear as guest stars. The number of musical guests in the history of The Simpsons is huge, but we've whittled it down to nine of the best in honor of the current marathon of every episode currently happening on FXX. -
8 Albums That End With Cover Songs

Sia Tops Slow Week on Billboard 200
This week was a relatively slow one on the Billboard 200, which allowed Sia to take the top spot for the first time in her career. We don't mean to suggest she didn't earn it: 1000 Forms of Fear sold 52,000 copies, the songwriter's largest sales week to date. However that was also the smallest sales week for a no. 1 in more than two years. -
